eM. Douglas Wade is a U.S. Army veteran, lifelong writer, and passionate storyteller. Raised in the Midwest and now living in historic Stratham, New Hampshire, Wade’s writing is grounded in personal experience, historical insight, and a love for richly crafted fiction.

His early work included poetry, award-winning nonfiction, and short stories, but his heart always belonged to historical fiction. He earned his Master of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University with a concentration in fiction. His career has led him through both service and scholarship, culminating in the launch of the Furst and Mayne series—a fusion of history, mystery, and high-stakes suspense.

When not writing, Wade enjoys the quiet rhythms of New England life with his wife Barbara, surrounded by history that often finds its way into his pages.
